Solar Photovoltaic (PV) for Homes
Generate cheap, green electricity from sunlight
Lower Fuel Bills and Environmentally Friendly
With energy prices expected to double in the next decade having solar PV panels installed will help to protect you from utility bill rises.
The electricity generated from your solar power system is completely free for you to use for as long as the life of the system.
A Solar PV system is environmentally friendly using sunlight to produce zero-carbon electricity. What’s more, solar PV systems don’t release any harmful carbon dioxide (CO2) or other pollutants into the atmosphere.
Why Solar Photovoltaic (PV) is so Popular?
Solar power PV systems are very reliable and require little maintenance. With a long life expectancy, it’s very likely that installing solar panels and photovoltaic systems will generate free electricity for you for at least 25 years, reducing your reliance on large utility companies for years to come.
A solar panel system can easily be connected to other renewable energy systems such as Battery Storage and Solar Assisted Heat Pumps to enable you to get the most out of your solar energy while saving electricity bills.
Benefits of a Solar PV System
- Solar PV system lower fuel bills and future protection against rising energy bills.
- Limit your reliance on energy suppliers.
- Solar panel efficiency cuts your carbon footprint with solar electricity.
- Long system life and minimal maintenance required.
- Easy to install.
- Most systems are permitted development under planning rules.
- Solar panels cost are reasonable and offer the best value for money.
Peace of Mind Working with a Credible Company
We adhere to the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) and Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC). All of our products fully meet the MCS requirements.
How Does it Work?
In a single hour, the sun transmits more energy to the earth’s surface than the world uses in a year.
Installed on a roof, solar panels work with that solar energy to capture light and convert it into electricity and store it in solar batteries to make it a cost-effective way to produce energy.
You don’t need to live somewhere sunny because solar needs only light not heat. Solar panels still work on cloudy days.
Solar panels generate DC electricity or say DC output. This current is fed into a unit called an inverter, which converts the DC into AC.
From the inverter, the AC is fed down to the main distribution board or consumer unit where it connects to the electrical system ready for use, or to be exported back to the national electricity grid.
